Toad Rosé

Erik the Red

Toad Hollow 'Eye of the Toad' Pinot Noir Rose 2010*

We were drinking randomly one night. I have not had a Róse in awhile. This is a Róse of Pinot Noir. I got it partly because of the eye-catching artwork. I found out later that they even got an entire chronicle behind their wines about Dr Toad and the Dancing Badger!

Risque
The wine itself has smell of strawberries and hibiscus (national flower of malaysia!) with a little of the bitterness at the end. Taste like chilled hibiscus tea (surprise surprise!), melon and cantaloupe with hints of honey. It is light and refreshing. Very enjoyable and good value too ($7.99)! OOOo

Le Faux Frog
It is without a doubt that Dr Toad and the Dancing Badger has achieved their dreams “Fine Wines at Reasonable Prices”. Their prices for the current release says it all! Overall, this is one great winery with a heartwarming and fun story to tell.

Snooth
